DIY: Give Your Vans a Patch Makeover

Summer Fashion Patches DIY Vans by Erin Aschow

Revenge Bakery Lifestyle Blog DIY Patch Vans Shoes Project

It seems like all of the cool kids I follow are wearing a ton of cute pieces that are styled with patches. I love how nostalgic the whole patch trend feels. It reminds me of my tricked out girl scout uniform – you better believe I sold the sh*t out of some cookies in my prime. I also still have my denim jacket from high school that I started adding band patches to – which totally wasn’t cool at the time, but I obviously didn’t care. Continue Reading

Valentine’s Day can be kind of a buzz kill. Not everyone has a significant other. Not everyone gets to spend V-day with the one they love. Not all Valentinexpectations are always fulfilled. But you know what everyone does have… a squad. So whether you’ve got plans with your boo or are looking for something to keep yourself preoccupied, you should totally celebrate your favorite friends! This year, I’m all about Galentine’s Day. Because let’s be real, girls are the only ones who really care about the holiday anyways.

In the words of Leslie Knope… It’s wonderful and it should be a national holiday.

DIY Choker Cutout T-shirt

By now you’ve probably picked up on one of the biggest trends – the choker is back! They’re delicate, edgy & can add a little spice to even the simplest outfit. The choker shirt is one of my favorite new trends. It’s kind of like a combination between a turtleneck, halter top & necklace. Everyone from Gigi Hadid and the Jenners to your favorite fashion bloggers have been wearing them lately.

DIY: Creepy, Cooky, Mysterious & Spooky Skull Vase

DIY Skull VaseDIY Skull VaseOne of my favorite parts about Halloween is decorating. I just went ham at Home Goods, stocking up on as much skull and spider web inspired decor as I could. I like to consider myself a modern day Morticia Addams… who just got a pet unicorn that pooped glitter everywhere. If my house could be black and spooky all year round, I’d be in heaven. I think some strategically placed skulls and skeletons are totally acceptable year round.

DIY: 3 Ingredient Marshmallows

Whipped Cream Marshmallows

A few months ago I tried making homemade marshmallows and it was a war zone. So messy. So annoying. They tasted like they were from a health food store or something (you know, not quite right). I called it a Pinterest fail and moved on. Can’t win em’ all. THEN… a friend of mine told me you can make marshmallows out of 3 ingredients. You know how I feel about 3 Ingredient Recipes… I’ll literally try any of them. Cheap, easy & 9/10 times super tasty. That’s right, you can put your DIY pants on and make your own Marshmallows with me!

Mas Cervezas: DIY Painted Corona Bottles

Corona Bottles

I have a confession to make… I’m the queen of Disaster DIY’s. You know when you see something on Pinterest and think, that looks easy and awesome, I should try it? Yea, that’s me. The only difference between ME & Pinterest ME is that most of my crafts end up looking like I had one too many glasses of wine and fell asleep holding the glue gun.
