When I first moved to San Diego, it became my mission to find the best food and coolest restaurants. I started following food blogs, Instagram accounts, Yelp & would keep an eye out for new restaurants popping up around our neighborhood. One of the first spots that hit my radar was Donut Bar. Everywhere I looked and everyone I talked to knew about Donut Bar & their infamous concoctions. The first 4 times I tried to visit their store, they were closed because they had sold out. Seriously! 4 times in a row! I started getting a little discouraged. But knew that if a donut shop was selling out of treats every day, it was worth the trek. Continue Reading
I moved to San Diego almost 3 years ago! So crazy how time flies. I travel all the time and write posts about my favorite things to do along the way, but have never created an “Ultimate Guide to San Diego”. You may remember my San Diego Food Finds post, which was a good start. But what are the best things to do on weekends, what should you do if you’ve got a vacation planned to San Diego, or what do all of the locals to for fun around here? This post features everything you need to add to your San Diego Bucket List. Continue Reading
We’ve all been there. Hell, I’m still there. It’s summer, which means everyone is out in full force spending money. Everything from cute new outfits, vacations, concerts, cocktails, road trips & restaurants. It all adds up! To make matters worse, every time you pull up your Instagram feed it seems like all everyone posts about is the money they’re spending and the crazy lavish summers they’re having. So, how do you live large like a Blogger Babe on a Budget? Continue Reading
Ahh growing up. It’s a double edged sword. You’re allowed to do whatever you want, but that also means you’re responsible for everything.
Even though I had a full time job at 16 and moved out at 17, there’s something a lot different about being in your 20s. It’s kind of like you have a realization that you have to get your shit together. In your mid and late 20s, you start scrambling because you realize you don’t have it together and look around and wonder how everyone else seems so composed. Continue Reading
I get a lot of questions about my skincare routine, so I thought I’d start by sharing a few of my favorite products and tips. I’d like to preface this post with the fact that I DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT have perfect skin. It’s a struggle, I have adult acne, scars, hyper pigmentation & some fine lines. It’s the real world people! I haven’t jumped into the world of high tech lasers, botox or fillers. Not to say I have anything against them or would rule them out completely, but my goal is to wait as long as possible. I think there’s something to be said about aging gracefully. I’m not even 30 yet! Continue Reading
Valentine’s Day can be kind of a buzz kill. Not everyone has a significant other. Not everyone gets to spend V-day with the one they love. Not all Valentinexpectations are always fulfilled. But you know what everyone does have… a squad. So whether you’ve got plans with your boo or are looking for something to keep yourself preoccupied, you should totally celebrate your favorite friends! This year, I’m all about Galentine’s Day. Because let’s be real, girls are the only ones who really care about the holiday anyways.
In the words of Leslie Knope… It’s wonderful and it should be a national holiday.
Alright, let’s talk about some real world stuff today: MONEY. And more importantly, tricks to save it! Who doesn’t love saving money!? I’m all about a good bargain and wait patiently for things I want to go on sale. Over the years, I’ve tried it all. But I’ve found that one of the easiest ways to save money is by shopping online. SO, I though it would be fun (and hopefully helpful) to share some of my money saving tips with you guys! Alright, let’s do this!
You guys! It’s finally here! I’m so so so excited to share my very first Revenge Bakery Shirt with you guys!!! I have a ton of fun new Revenge Bakery goodies coming in 2017, but wanted to end 2016 with a BANG and post these bad boys!
So it really happened… I made a YouTube video! I can’t tell you how long I’ve been trying to figure out how to get started with it. The fact of the matter is that the whole thing actually made me really nervous. I hate hearing the sound of my voice and watching my crazy mannerisms and faces. But, I rallied and decided that with the help of my trusty bff Doug I could do it!
