All the Feels: Self Care Checklist

All The Feels - Self Care Checklist

“Self Care” is an ominous and kind of vague subject. I feel like a lot of times it has a negative connotation and people are embarrassed to talk about it. As if everyone doesn’t have shitty days or periods in their life when they’re confused, struggling to figure their life out, depressed, or simply in a slump. Guess what!? We all have our bad days, weeks & years. There’s nothing to be ashamed of! You’re not alone and the feelings you feel aren’t weird. Instead of alienating yourself because of your feelings, I think it’s important to bridge the gap and drop the stigma associated with self care.  Continue Reading

We got back from Denver almost a week ago and I’ve been totally slacking on editing photos and video from our trip. If you follow me on the gram, you may have noticed my hand is out of commission. I woke up during our trip to insane pain in my middle finger and hand and ended up in urgent care. Sadly, the time we spent at the doctor’s ate into a lot of our sight seeing. But we were still able to do, see & eat quite a bit in the few days we had! I can’t wait to share more pictures from our stay at the Four Seasons Denver. Continue Reading

I haven’t always been athletic. I was literally the worlds worst volleyball player and could barely dribble the basketball in PE. I grew up doing gymnastics and later joined the diving team in high school, but was never much of a runner or fan of “working out”. It wasn’t until my early 20s that I actually started enjoying going to the gym. It’s my “me time”. Not only does it help keep my anxiety in check, it makes me feel good. But that’s not to say it’s always easy to stay motivated or stay active. Continue Reading

As I start to write this, I’m not sure how much it will resonate with people who follow along. But sometimes, I think it’s important to take a step back and just get real. This is one of those “word vomit” type blog posts that I use to share a little glimpse inside of the tilt-a-whirl that is my brain. Continue Reading

Summer Skincare Guide

Erin Aschow Revenge Bakery Skincare Erin Aschow Revenge Bakery Skincare Tips Trophy Skinc at home Microdermabrasion Kit Erin Aschow Skincare Routine I get a lot of questions about my skincare routine, so I thought I’d start by sharing a few of my favorite products and tips. I’d like to preface this post with the fact that I DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT have perfect skin. It’s a struggle, I have adult acne, scars, hyper pigmentation & some fine lines. It’s the real world people! I haven’t jumped into the world of high tech lasers, botox or fillers. Not to say I have anything against them or would rule them out completely, but my goal is to wait as long as possible. I think there’s something to be said about aging gracefully. I’m not even 30 yet! Continue Reading

You guys, it’s almost summer! Which means shorts are getting shorter, tops are getting smaller and my least favorite shopping will happen… swimsuits. I also promised that I’d share more of healthy content and details about how I stay fit. I exercise about 4-5 days a week, but since summer is just around the corner I decided to to get down to business. I recently found BodyBoss Method online, which is a 12 week program… aka the Ultimate Body Fitness Guide! Basically, it’s a structured routine of fun/high intensity workouts.  Continue Reading
