Red Rocks Amphitheater Denver Colorado Tony Perry and Doug the Dog Family Hike
Its been a while since Tony, Doug & I got to go on a family vacation! Doug got to get his puppy passport this summer and go with me to Mexico, but Tony was on tour and couldn’t make it. I’ve been racking my brain for last minute mini-vacay ideas. I was doing some late night Pinterest-ing and stumbled upon a bunch of photos of Denver. Denver is one of the few places I’ve never visited Tony on tour because it’s so close to home that it usually doesn’t make sense to plan a visit around! Continue Reading

We got back from Denver almost a week ago and I’ve been totally slacking on editing photos and video from our trip. If you follow me on the gram, you may have noticed my hand is out of commission. I woke up during our trip to insane pain in my middle finger and hand and ended up in urgent care. Sadly, the time we spent at the doctor’s ate into a lot of our sight seeing. But we were still able to do, see & eat quite a bit in the few days we had! I can’t wait to share more pictures from our stay at the Four Seasons Denver. Continue Reading

I’m a planner. Before I go on any trip, I write myself to-do lists, checklists, packing lists, shopping lists and so on. The same applies for a road trip. Road Trips are a great way to get out and explore. But what the hell do you need to bring? Tony and I are planning a trip to Palm Springs, which got me thinking about creating a Road Trip Essentials list. Whether you’re driving for 5 hours or 5 days, there are a few things that you should definitely bring with you to minimize stops and save money along the way. Continue Reading

We can now add another year of San Diego Comic-Con to the record books,  it brought everything a nerd like me could hope for from a four-day celebration of geek culture. There was cosplay (oh boy was there cosplay), trailers, exciting experiences, authors & artists. In all honesty, it was a lot. Especially for a reclusive, anti-social girl like myself. But that doesn’t mean I’d ever pass up an opportunity to walk around in a costume and immerse myself in people watching with my fellow nerds. Continue Reading

Donut Bar x Revenge Bakery – Interview With the World’s Best Donut Shop

When I first moved to San Diego, it became my mission to find the best food and coolest restaurants. I started following food blogs, Instagram accounts, Yelp & would keep an eye out for new restaurants popping up around our neighborhood. One of the first spots that hit my radar was Donut Bar. Everywhere I looked and everyone I talked to knew about Donut Bar & their infamous concoctions. The first 4 times I tried to visit their store, they were closed because they had sold out. Seriously! 4 times in a row! I started getting a little discouraged. But knew that if a donut shop was selling out of treats every day, it was worth the trek. Continue Reading

It’s been a couple of weeks since I got back from Mexico, but it’s taken me a longer than expected to get all of my pictures uploaded. My SD card broke – RIP – and I had to get it fixed to pull the pictures, so annoying. For anyone who follows me on Instagram, you know I went to The Four Seasons Punta Mita, Mexico for a week with my Dad and sister. I haven’t posted much about my family on here, so I thought it would be a fun way to introduce you to that part of my life! Crazy… I have family, right!? Continue Reading
