S’mores Waffles Recipe

Is there really anything better than weekend waffles? Growing up, waffles were reserved for special occasions. So I always feel like it’s going to be a good day if I start it with a fresh batch stacked waffles. Every once in a while, I’ll randomly get out my waffle iron and try to think of a more exciting topping concoction. This weekend, I combined two of my favorites: waffles + s’mores.

I started with my tried & true, EASIEST WAFFLE RECIPE EVER. The great thing is that the recipe makes the perfect amount for 2 people. If you’ve got 4 people (or more), just double the recipe!

S’mores Waffles Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1/2  teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup +  6 tablespoons of milk
  • 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 egg

Combine all of the dry ingredients & all of the wet ingredients in separate bowls. Then, slowly pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture while you whisk them together.

Pour some of the mixture into your waffle iron. I like to use an ice cream scoop to get the perfect amount and keep it clean. Cook for 4-6 minutes on medium high heat or until it stops steaming.

For S’mores Waffles, top with Mini Chocolate Chips, Chocolate Sauce & Marshmallows!

Super easy, right?

If you want, you can freeze extra waffles and pop them in the toaster throughout the week for a quick breakfast too! Also!! If you’re interested in making your own marshmallows for this recipe, checkout this post on how to make marshmallows: 3 ingredients!
